Upcoming change

Very soon now, we’re going to be changing server for this site. As part of the process, the old forum is going to break. It’s not been operating as it should for a long time, as we had to bar new members because of spamming issues. What we’re proposing to do, therefore, is abandon it, and set up a new arrangement. As part of the new regime, Michael will be bringing his blog within the site properly under a full Wordpress install. This will allow members to comment on posts, and hopefully be a lot easier and more fun to participate in.
Once the new site is up and running properly, we may look to re-introduce a fully-fledged forum, if there’s still the demand for it.
So, anyhoo, that’s what’s ahead. Expect changes within the next 7-10 days.

The full bibliography has been updated with the ISBN for the upcoming UK edition of THE SERVANTS, and scant information for a Russian publication of THE LONELY DEAD.

The site's undergone another sprucing - mainly to make the Welcome page more useful. It now shows the most recent news items, allows direct access to the news archives and the tag cloud, features quick links to new and upcoming projects, and should hopefully now be the best way to enter the site and keep updated on new information. 1. THE SERVANTS has been added to the Michael Marshall Smith novels page. It has also been added as the first entry under a new M. M. Smith page, as that's the name under which it will be published in the UK in April. There are covers for both that edition and the upcoming American mass market edition, which is shown there despite the fact will be published in the US under Michael Marshall Smith, as these are both mass market publications. We hope that's sufficiently confusing.
