The end of this month will see the French publication of Michael's collection of short stories. Entitled L'HOMME QUI DESSINAIT DES CHATS ('The Man Who Drew Cats') to avoid conflict with a popular bande dessiné magazine, it's being published by Bragelonne, who previously bought out ONLY FORWARD in French.

Bragelonne will also be publishing THE SERVANTS, as part of their new mass market line, Milady. We'll announce publication dates for that when we know them...

Story in book celebrating the British Fantasy Society

Michael has a story in a new volume celebrating the British Fantasy Society. The story isn't exactly new - it's THE MAN WHO DREW CATS, the first he ever wrote - but is appropriate because it was the tale with which he won his first British Fantasy Award (there's also an eight hundred word introduction to the story). Featuring other writers including Clive Barker, Neil Gaiman, Ramsey Campbell, Peter Straub, Brian Aldiss, Robert Silverberg, Christopher Fowler, Kim Newman and many more, proceeds from the book are to be split between supporting the BFS and the Nqabakazulu Charity Project.

The book will be launched at FantasyCon this weekend, and can be ordered here.
