Halloween Reading...

Michael will be taking part in a Halloween event to launch the latest volume of Stephen Jones' seminal BEST NEW HORROR series, at Waterstones in Gower Street (London). The event starts at 6:30 and will feature readings from Christopher Fowler, Mark Samuels and Michael, followed by a Q&A.

Guildford Literary Festival

Michael will be appearing at a event titled Adapting for Screen at this year's Guildford Literary Festival, on Tuesday October 16th. The event will be chaired by Paul Blezzard of Oneword Radio, and other participants include Jed Mercurio and Ben Richardson

"How Novel" is a series of literature events in conjunction with Derby City Council’s Literature Development and the Assembly Rooms.

Michael will be reading from his work and taking questions on the night. He will be supported by Hazard Warning, who are three local crime writers, Rod Duncan, Clare Littleford and Sally Spedding.

New Online Interview

Michael to be GoH at British Fantasy Convention 2007

2007 is going to be a full year for Michael, appearance-wise. In addition to appearing as GoH at the World Horror Convention in Toronto at the end of March, it has just been announced that Michael will be a GoH at FantasyCon in September.

The convention will be held in Nottingham again this year, between 21st-23rd September. Editor and anthologist Stephen Jones has been confirmed as another GoH, and writer/editor/publisher Peter Crowther will be Master of Ceremonies.

Michael at Guildford Literary Festival on 19th October

Michael will be appearing at an event in this year's Guildford Literary Festival. Entitled WHY CRIME?, the event will be chaired by novelist Natasha Cooper, and the panel will also include Frances Fyfield, Graham Hurley, Jim Kelly and Laura Wilson. Full details on the festival and event are here.
